Durham Tees Valley Airport is situated on the A67 road. The airport is 24 miles south of Durham and 6 miles east of Darlington. The airport can be reached from the A1 (M), A19 and A66. The nearest railway station is Darlington station. The Tees Valley Sky Express free bus service runs between the airport and the station. The buses run every hour. From the station there are frequent trains to Durham, Newcastle, York and Darlington There is also a taxi service outside the terminal building.
