Barcelona Airport handles a large volume of passenger traffic daily. The airport provides service to Barcelona city and various places along the Costa Brava and is about 12 kilometers from the city centre.

Barcelona Airport has three terminals, named A, B, & C, which handle air shuttle, Iberia Regional flights and general aviation. A list of airlines for each terminal is available on the website. There are arrivals and departures within each terminal and below is the arrivals and departures link.

Transportation services to and from the airport include rental cars, private transfer drivers, taxis, shuttle buses, express buses and the Metro system trains. All transportation information is available at the information desk in arrivals.

There are cafes and restaurants in all three terminals. Terminal C has only general stores in the public areas, whereas terminals A and B have shops, general stores, concessions and more. Terminal B also has a pharmacy.

There is no accommodation available at the airport; the Renaissance Barcelona Hotel is just four minutes away. There are also many three, four and five star hotels on the way into the city.

There is a parking garage at the airport with 5, 500 parking spaces indoors and 7,600 spaces outdoors. Ticket parking machines are located in the public area of each terminal. You take a ticket when you enter and when leaving you insert the ticket into the payment machines located at the car park exits.

Other facilities include secure lockers, cash machines, shops, information desks, telephones, lost and found, restrooms, WiFi and internet connections.
