Goa International Airport is located in Dabolim, which is 30 km from the capital city of Panjim, on the periphery Goa’s largest town, Vasco da Gama. Goa is regarded as one of India’s most famous tourist destinations. The Goa International Airport welcomes all international and domestic tourists who come to visit the scenic Goa seaside. It has an airport code of GOI.

You’ll find all the major Indian airlines such as Kingfisher, Air India, Jet Airways, and Indian Airlines at the Goa International Airport. The airport has a car-parking facility located near the terminal. This car park can accommodate about one hundred cars. There is a helpdesk within the premises, along with amenities like bank currency exchange booths, snack bars, and duty-free shops that sell a wide range of goods such as liquor, cigarettes, perfumes, electronic gadgets, and watches. Baggage trolleys and a first aid room are available in the airport as well.

To reach the airport, you need to drive up to national highway 17A first, then follow the 17A eastwards and go north on Highway 17, which will take you to Goa’s capital, Panaji. Vasco Da Gama can be reached by going west on the state highway. From there, you are just a short distance from the Dabolim airport.

The transportation services that can be utilized at the airport are pre-paid taxis and local buses. The buses are usually quite crowded. Vasco da Gama can also be accessed by train. Goa Airport doesn’t have any accommodation facility; however, there are a few good hotels about a mile away, such as the Bogmala Beach Resort.
