The airport is located around four miles from Honolulu and nine from Waikiki Beach.
Main Terminal: Arrivals and departures are located on the second floor, with the baggage claim area being on the ground floor. All passengers board and deplane from the second level. Online flight information is not available at this time, but passengers may call the airline direct. InterIsland Terminal: This terminal is where passengers for flights to and from neighboring Islands board and deplane. Services operating from this terminal include flights to Hilo and Kona International airports and several domestic destinations.
Commuter Terminal: This is the terminal, from which regional jet aircraft carry passengers to and from major domestic airports and commercial service airports. Among them are Lanai, Hana, Molokai and Kalaupapa. This terminal requires passengers to walk up or down stairs to board and deplane. Personnel provide lifts for mobility-impaired passengers.
The airport provides amenities such as food and beverages, restrooms, retail and gift shops, newspapers and a Business Center. The airlines provide passenger lounges, some of which are in the magnificent Garden area. Lost & Found is on the ground level, inside the parking garage across from the Main Overseas Terminal. There are two hotels within one mile of the airport, BW The Plaza and Ohana Honolulu Apartment Hotel, with a further seven within a six mile radius.
