Huntsville/Decatur airport serves eighteen regional counties with non-stop flights across the country. The terminal has two levels and an on-site Sheraton Hotel, which is accessible from both levels. The ticket counters are on the ground level, which also houses concessions, baggage claim and access to ground transportation. Shuttles, rental cars, limousines and taxis are available to take passengers to their destinations. The ground level also has telephones, TDD devices, escalators, handicap-accessible restrooms, postal services, an ATM and an E-Ticket Machine. The Concourse Level provides a comfortable passenger waiting area, airline offices, concessions, access to the hotel and twelve departure and arrival gates. This level also has an ATM, TDD device, telephones, security checkpoint, restaurant, coffee shop/snacks, a newspaper/gift shop and an information center. The airport also offers a free WIFI zone. A large NASA mural and mobile is the main attraction on the ground level. The public waiting and security screening areas occupy about 20,000 square feet with 200 seats in the public area. Expansion projects include additional gift shops, concessions, restrooms and a family restroom on both levels. The parking garage, which is managed by Smart Park, has six parking levels including a 10minute, covered waiting area for picking-up and dropping-off passengers. There is also a covered walkway leading to curbside check-in. Economy parking, handicap parking and long-term parking are all available.
