Key West International Airport has one terminal and two runways. The airport serves mostly vacationing domestic and international passengers. Key West, itself, is an island for fishing, snorkeling and sunset nights on the beach as there are many resorts on the island of Key West. This airport is on the northwest corner of the island, a short distance from the downtown area.
To reach the Key West International Airport from downtown Key West take US Route 1 south across the Stock Island Bridge. Turn left onto South Roosevelt Boulevard. Then turn right on Royal Park Drive, which is about one mile off South Roosevelt Boulevard.
The airport provides operational space for American Eagle, Continental, US Airways and Delta Airlines. In addition, Gator Air and Vintage Prop & Jets run operations from the Key West International Airport. Some of the airlines serve Marathon Airport, which is about one hundred and twenty miles from southern Miami. Many flights have routes requiring a stopover at the Miami International Airport.

Key West Airport offers car rentals and additional ground transportation includes public transit ‘Blue Line’, taxis and limousines. The Conch Flyer restaurant serves food and beverages at the airport with many other restaurants located close to the airport in all directions
This airport does not have on-site overnight accommodation, however there are several B&Bs, hotels and motels along both South and North Roosevelt Drive.
