Kona International Airport is in Hawaii. The natives refer to the airport as Kailua-Kona. The Kona Airport is about seven miles northwest of Kailua. Kona and has many domestic and international visitors passing through the terminal hall daily.

The north and south terminal halls include fast food restaurants on the main level. The food area in each terminal hall is called Maxwell Landing. The north terminal includes the Aloha Airlines executive club lounge, lost and found and Internet access on the main level. Telephones, restrooms, news stands and other services are available throughout the terminal.

The south terminal provides the same services as the north hall and includes the Hawaiian Air premier club lounge. The airport security office is on the main level in each terminal. Arrivals and departures information is available on monitors throughout the terminals. The status of flights is constantly updated on monitors.

Passengers can access transport facilities from each terminal hall including airport shuttles, limousines, buses and taxicabs outside baggage claims. North terminal passengers can access transport links outside in the pick-up zone. South hall passengers can access these outside in the curbside zone.

The airport has long-term parking, adjacent to the terminal halls, for $1 an hour after the first thirty minutes, which are free. The airport offers an economy parking lot for short -term parking beyond thirty minutes. Drivers can drop-off passengers at the curbside zone and disabled parking is available in all parking lots at Kona International Airport.

There are transport services available to nearby hotels. Kona Beach Hotel, King Kamehameha Hotel, Ohana Keauhou Beach and the Royal Kona Resort all have such services running.
