London Luton Airport is 32 miles north of central London. It takes five minutes in normal traffic to reach the airport via the M1 trunk road. The route to the airport is well signposted. For those travelling on the M25, it is a twenty-five minute journey to the airport.

Close to the airport is the Luton Airport Parkway Station. Trains operated by Thameslink and Midland Mainline link the airport with Central London. There are bus services run by Easybus and Green Line. The Green Line 757 operates an express coach that takes passengers to Central London in under 75 minutes.

At Luton airport, there are short, mid and long-term parking areas, including parking bays for disabled travellers. The short-term parking area is indicated by gold signs. Green signs will take you to the mid-term parking area and pink signs to the long-term parking area. Parking bays reserved for the disabled may be used by vehicles displaying a Blue Badge. In addition, Luton has free motorbike parking.

The terminal at Luton has 60 check-in desks and handles over 9.4 million passengers. The terminal offers a 24-hour Left Luggage storage facility. There are a variety of shops at the airport. Before security, Gamegrid sells entertainment and games. Tie Rack sells scarves, knitwear and accessories. Food and drink may be purchased at Bar des Voyageurs, Burger King, and Food Village, all located before security. After security passengers can choose from Est restaurant and bar, Krispy Kreme, Pip, Pret a Manger, Starbucks and the Real Food Company.
