Within an elite field of five star air companies, Singapore Airlines is one of the world’s finest air carriers. Flying out of Singapore’s Changi Airport, Singapore Airlines connects passengers to major regions around the globe including Australia, the Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa and North America.

Singapore Airlines operates to over 65 cities globally, such as New York, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Sydney and Tokyo. Although many of the long haul flights are made via connecting cities, Singapore Airlines has two of the world’s longest direct flights – to New Jersey and Los Angeles, North America. Not only is Singapore Airlines a Star Alliance Member, but it also has code share agreements with other airlines, including South African Airways and Egypt Air.

Singapore Airlines boasts a young fleet of aircraft, averaging about six years. There are currently 108 aircraft in service, and Singapore Airlines was the first air carrier in the world to adopt the new A380, now operating nine with 10 more on order. Other aircraft include A340s, A330s, B777s, and B747s. Compared to other air carriers, Singapore Airlines has a quick turnover of its aircraft, generally about every six years.

Renowned as the highest quality service in the world, Singapore Airlines offers unparalleled facilities onboard their flights. They are three classes on most flights – economy, business and first class. All passengers have individual entertainment systems regardless seating selection. The new A380 also boasts a ‘class above first’, the Singapore Airlines Suites, where cabins are equipped with a stand alone bed and many other unrivalled service options.

Singapore Airlines provides two loyalty programs – the Krisflyer and the PPS Club. Members are awarded with privileges, and can earn points towards flight discounts, upgrades and priority services on any Singapore Airlines flights, certain Star Alliance airlines, and Silk Air (Singapore Airlines subsidiary company).
