If you are driving to the airport, take the AL-12, Autovia del Aeropuerto to exit KM9. Take the Autovia, A-7 to E-15 and then take N-344 toward airport exit KM9.

The main airport terminal at the Almeria Airport in Spain has three floors. The departures are on the ground floor while the arrivals area is on the first floor. There is a rooftop café and a duty free shop which is located on the lower ground floor beyond the departures area.

In the arrivals hall passengers will find the baggage area, car for hire agencies and directions to buses, taxis and public shuttles.

Additional facilities include telephones, an information desk, restrooms and assistance for the handicapped. There is no accommodation available at the airport, but four star hotels are available in the city centre.

Transportation to and from the airport is available through car hire agencies and private transfer drivers; Shuttle Direct offers a door-to-door service. Public buses run about every 30-40 minutes from the city centre.

The car park, located in front of the main terminal, has a capacity for 319 cars. The first half hour costs €0.42 and the second half hour costs €0.52. Each additional hour is €0.96. If you plan to leave your car for 1-4 days the cost is €10.45 per day. The AA Company offers off site parking near the airport. AA Parking also offers cars for hire.
