Cheap flights to Birmingham International Airport (BHM)
Posted on: July 23rd, 2008 by adminServing greater Birmingham and surrounding cities the Birmingham International Airport is the largest in Alabama. This year celebrating its 75th year of operation and looking forward to many more years of serving locals and visitors to Birmingham. This airport when seen from its plans looks very similar to short golf club.
Several hotels are only a short distance from the airport. The airport does, however, have on-site overnight accommodation. Parking includes a ‘cell phone’ lot for visitors who come to pick-up passengers. Passengers can call those waiting for them. This lot, though small, is free and without time restraints. A short-term (up to four hours) parking lot is on level three with a crosswalk to concourse B or C. Restrooms and other amenities are available throughout the two levels of the terminal.
Ground transport links include several taxicab stands in the pick-up area near the terminal entrance. Buses, vans, shuttles and limousines and rental cars are available in the pickup area of concourse B and C. Food and beverage services, gift shops and other retail outlets are available in concourse B and C on the upper level before and after the security checkpoint. A self-serve business center is on the upper level of concourse C. Internet service is free and accessible anywhere in the airport terminal.
