Calgary International Airport stretches across the landscape as a large crescent shaped city within a city. Just adjacent to the parking areas is the Arrivals Central terminal, the entry to Meeting Places A, C, and D. Meeting Place D connects to Departure Concourse D on the West end. Located throughout the terminal are convenience stores, washrooms, ATM’s, elevators and information kiosks. A Money Exchange Center is in Arrival Central near Meeting Place C.

The Departure Terminal includes the US Pre-clearance area and Meeting Places B and D. Concourses A, B/C and D connect to Meeting Places B and D. Elevators, washrooms, a Wellness Centre, a smoking lounge and food court are located just off a parking area in front of the Departures East terminal. A pharmacy, retail stores and shops are in the Departures East area. Additional retail shops and restaurants are in the West and Center Departures areas. Each concourse includes restaurants, shops and washrooms.

Calgary International Airport offers parking in five easy to reach parking areas located behind the Arrivals terminal. Short-term parking is on the ground level in the Parkade costing $5.00 for the first hour. Long-term parking is $24.00 maximum for all day and $120.00 weekly.

Calgary Airport is the premier International Airport in Alberta and is regarded as the gateway to the Rockies. The airport is easy to reach from anywhere within Calgary and the surrounding areas. Cabs, shuttles, buses and rental cars are readily available for transportation to downtown Calgary and nearby locations. Lincoln Town Cars offer premier transport for $40 to downtown Calgary.

There are plenty of excellent hotels within a short distance of the airport. The nearby Holiday Inn Express provides an airport shuttle service.

Directions: From downtown Calgary to the Airport is about 7.5 miles. Memorial Drive NE to Deerfoot Trail NE and right on Airport Trail NE. Turn right on Airport Trail NE to Barlow Trail NE about .3 mile and then right onto Airport Road NE to parking areas.
