The Charleston International Airport offers 124 flights a day to seventeen destinations. The airport shares two runways with the United States Air Force and is the principal transportation hub in southeastern United States. The airport is located approximately fourteen kilometers (nine miles) northwest of downtown Charleston.

The airport has one terminal, two concourses and ten passenger gates. Concourse B includes an international lounge, customs center, food and beverage services, restrooms, telephones, VIP lounge and a pre-boarding Lounge. Concourse A is smaller with a pre-boarding lounge, food and beverage services, restrooms and a VIP lounge.

A security checkpoint separates the main lobby and the concourses. There is food and beverage service, a bookstore / newsstand and restrooms beyond the security checkpoints.

The atrium of the main lobby has ATM machines, telephones, food and beverage services, restrooms, a bookstore / newsstand, retail shops, Internet access and televisions. The ticket counter is right of the main entrance and baggage claim is left of the main entrance. There is plenty of car parking available at the airport with some 2000 plus spaces. The entrance to the main car park is opposite the entrance to the terminal. There are various parking services and rates available.
