Basel Airport or EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is an international airport situated close to the Swiss town of Basel. The airport is operated by a joint partnership between Switzerland and France. The unique position of the airport has resulted in it being granted three IATA airport codes.
Directions:
Basel Airport is located some 25km to the south of Mulhouse and 8km to the northwest of Basel. It is easily accessed from either city by taking the A35 motorway and the Flughafen Strasse, or airport road.
Terminals:
Basel Airport has only one terminal, which is split into two sectors; the French sector and the Swiss sector.
Transport to and from EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg:
Some of the car hire companies that operate from Basel Airport include Sixt, Budget, Avis, Autopole, Hertz, Europcar and National Citer. Regular bus services are also available, some of which ferry passengers to the St Louis railway station, from where it is possible to take a train to Mulhouse.
There are taxi services, which can be found outside the arrivals hall.
Parking:
Both short and long-term car parking is available. As there are no car park shuttle buses, the only way to get to and from them is by walking.

Hotels close to the airport include Hotel Jenny, Captain Hotel and Hotel Formule 1 Bâle Aéroport. Shuttle buses run to and from Hotel Jenny and Hotel Captain.
