Directions: The Bratislava airport is located 9 km north-east from the city. From the City centre take Špitálska ulica, Krížna ulica, Trnavské mýto, Ivanská cesta and follow the “”Airport”" signs. The Bratislava Airport is located in Slovakia. There is one passenger terminal and one cargo terminal.

There are 19 check-in desks to accommodate the annual passenger capacity of 2,000,000. The airport also has eight gates and four baggage claim belts. The parking lot is located in front of the passengers’ terminal. The fees are 15 SK for the first 30 minutes, 35 SK for one hour 175 SK for 24 hours and 1050 SK for seven days. Prices are subject to change without notice.

There is a wide range of items in the great variety of Duty Free and specialty shops inside the airport. International travellers usually make the most of the Duty Free shops. There is also Express Mail Services available at the Airport Travel Agency. There is Wireless (Wi-Fi) Internet Access available in public areas. For the banking needs of travellers they will find ATM services and local currency exchange bureaus.

The airport caters to business travellers with the availability of meeting rooms. Business travellers will find the convenience of a variety of also a copy machine, fax machine, workstations with computer ports, computer stations, private telephone rooms and limited secretarial services.

There are a variety of restaurants and snack facilities throughout the airport. So no matter whether you are looking for a cup of tea or coffee, a cold drink, beer or wine, or a light meal you should be able find something that suits your taste.

For the smaller passengers there are play areas to help them pass the time and for the very young there are baby care rooms in all parts of the terminal.

For public transport take bus number 61 that operates from the Central Station to the airport. The train does not have a stop at the airport so you will also need to take the bus. There are also taxicabs available.

There is plenty of accommodation in Bratislava with the most expensive hotels in the city centre. Cheaper accommodation can be found ranging from guesthouses to youth hostels.
