Cluj International Airport is located 10km away from the commercial centre of the city of Cluj-Napoca on the European road E 576, and 12 km away from the train station.

For the convenience of travellers there is an Exchange office located in the airport. You can also find an ATM machine that accepts MasterCard, Visa and Maestro. There is also a snack bar and a travel agency. Car rental agencies are available in the terminal building. Those servicing the airport include Avis, Hertz, Sixt, Dollar-Thrifty, Autorent, Rodna Trans, Tettour and Romana Impex.

Passengers that drive to the airport can use the parking area which is located close to the terminal building. The charges are 2 lei for the first 30 minutes. 4 lei for 30 minutes to 1 hour, 12 lei for 1 to 2 hours, 16 lei for 2 to 5 hours, 25 lei for 5 to 18 hours, 35 lei for 18 to 24 hours 100 lei for 1 to 7 days, 170 lei for 7 to 14 days and 340 lei for 14 to 30 days.

There is also bus service available with a stop roughly 100 metres from the terminal building. The RATUC public transport company Route number 8 operates the bus that connects the airport to Mihai Viteazul Square in the city centre. The bus runs every 30 minutes between 5:30 am and 10:30 pm or 22:30 on Monday through Friday and 5:30 am and 10:00 pm or 22:00 on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes.

A wide variety of taxicabs are often available. You will find them waiting just off the terminal building in the car parking area. Some taxis have a significantly higher fee than others. Make sure you only use a taxi that has the fee clearly displayed. The fee is usually about 1.8 lei or 0.5 Euros per kilometre.

The Premier and the Rimini hotels both run a pick up service to and from the airport.
