Frankfurt Hahn

Frankfurt Hahn Airport (airport code: HHN) is situated 120 km west of Frankfurt. It is easily accessible if you are getting there by road, even though it is not connected to the autobahn.

If you are traveling by car from Frankfurt, take A66 going to Schiersteiner Kreuz, then go to A643 toward Dreieck Mainz. Enter A60 going to Bingen in the direction of Dreieck Nahetal. After that, enter A61 in the direction of Hahn or Koblenz, and then exit at Rheinbollen. Take trunk road B50 and the Hahn airport exit.

From Cologne, drive on A61 going to Mainz or Ludwigshafen, then exit at Rheinbollen, where you can access trunk road B50 and exit at Hahn Airport.

The airport has accommodations for parking. Shuttle buses transport guests from the parking area to the terminal. You can also take a bus to the Frankfurt Hahn Airport. You may ride the private buses that service the areas of Frankfurt/Main, Cologne, and Luxembourg. There is no railway that is directly connected to the airport. However, you can take the buses that connect the closest railway stations to the airport.

If you need transportation services from the airport, there are taxis waiting outside the terminal. You may also take the bus. The Omnibus GmbH regularly takes passengers from the airport to a number of locations in Frankfurt and nearby areas. Rental cars are also available.

The airport offers many facilities. There are two banks located in Terminal 1, both equipped with ATMs and money changing services. Public phones can be found near the terminal entrance and in the Arrival and Departure areas. Some shops, restaurants, and cafes are also found in the airport. Frankfurt Hahn Airport also has a conference centre where you will find seminar rooms, an assembly hall, and a cafeteria. Here, you can avail of internet, photocopying, and other business services.

There are two hotels at the airport, the Intercity Hotel and the B & B Hotel.
