Hannover

Hannover Airport is situated 15 km north of Hannover. With a total annual capacity of 4.5 million, the airport accommodates approximately 1 million passengers every year. It has three terminals that are built close to each other, making it easy to travel from one to another on foot.

Hannover Airport is directly connected to the central railway station through a subway that is serviced by S-Bahn trains. The airport is easily accessible by car. You can take the A7 or A2, and then go to the A352 toward the Langenhagen exit. From there, you can just follow the signs. Parking garages are available at the airport.

Transportation options available in the airport are taxis, buses, trains, and rental cars. The taxi stands can be found outside the Arrival terminal. You can also take Flughafen Transfer Hannover, which provides door-to-door shuttle service that runs 24 hours a day.

If traveling by bus, you can take Bus 60, which connects the airport to the central railway station. Bus 471 travels from the airport to Langenhagen, where tram number 1 will connect you to the central railway station. There are also car and limousine rentals in Hannover Airport.

Facilities in the airport include banks, money changing services, ATMs scattered in the three terminals, a post office, and a salon. Guests can dine and relax in restaurants, bars, and cafes or they can go shopping in Duty Free and in other stores. Hannover Airport is equipped with disabled access. Assistance will be given upon request.

Business facilities are provided for at the Movenpick Conference Centre, which lies between Terminals A and B. The business center offers conference rooms of various sizes that can accommodate between 5 to 350 persons.

Two hotels are found in Hannover Airport – Maritim Airport Hotel Hannover and Holiday Inn Airport Hannover. The hotels offer their own separate business centers aside from the Movenpick Conference Centre.
