Krakow Airport, IATA code KRK, is officially named the John Paul II International Airport Kraków-Balice, after the late Pope John Paul II. It is located in the village of Balice, which is around 11km away from the city centre. This airport, which is recorded as being the second busiest in Poland, has two passenger terminals, one for domestic flights and the other for international flights, along with a cargo terminal.
