Directions: The airport can be easily accessed from the A1, M1 and M62 motorways and is clearly signposted from all routes.

Leeds Bradford International Airport is situated to the northwest of Leeds City Centre and enjoys excellent transport links from most of the surrounding towns and cities including Leeds, Bradford, York and Harrogate. There is a direct, express coach service running from York Railway Station to the airport and tickets for this service can be purchased in advance online or direct from the station or the airport. The airport operates both international and domestic flights with some of the principal operators using the airport including KLM, bmi, Ryanair and flybe.

For those travelling by car, there are both short-stay and long-stay car parks available. Long-stay car parking can be booked online in advance, making a saving of 20% on standard costs. Special Assistance Parking is also available.

Facilities offered at the airport include a ‘Fast Track’ service for an express passage through security and the ‘Yorkshire Executive Club’ (which includes car parking free of charge, use of the Executive Lounge and ‘Fast Track’). Car hire services are available from three major providers and their desks can be found near to the arrivals area for international flights. Foreign exchange services, WiFi access and a quiet room are also provided.

Shoppers are well catered for with a duty free shop, newsagent/bookseller and chemist. There are several cafés and bars for those seeking refreshments, providing a wide choice of meals and snacks.

Close to the airport by the edge of the A658 is a Travelodge Hotel. A shuttle minibus is provided to transfer passengers to and from the airport terminal.
