Liverpool John Lennon Airport is one of the UK’s oldest airports, and is located 7 miles South East of Liverpool City centre and right next to the River Mersey. It is easily accessible from the M53, M56, M57 and M62 motorways as well as The Knowsley Expressway. Operators using the airport include KLM, easyJet, Flybe, Ryanair and Wizzair, flying to destinations across Europe and to various UK airports.

A newly opened long-stay car park provides over 750 bays. Pricing and availability of parking varies but it can be pre-booked online with prices generally starting at as low as £2 per day.

There are many public transport options available for travellers to and from Liverpool Airport, and even though it doesn’t have its own train station, there are stations nearby with frequent shuttle services running. Other options include travelling by taxi or one of the regular bus services.

You can always stay connected with the outside world, as there are several pay-as-you-go Internet facilities conveniently available throughout the terminal as well as Wi-Fi Internet access.

Liverpool Airport is fully equipped to handle the millions of users that pass through it each year; it is filled with a massive variety of shops, restaurants and even public art exhibitions. Shops include The Soft Shoe Company, Sock Shop, Music Shop, Butler’s Fine Chocolates, Impressions, Gina and The Nail Sanctuary and so much more.

For the business traveller the airport caters for every need, including conference and private business suites and lounges, with all the required necessities for a productive working environment including Internet access, fax and laptop connections.

There are many hotels in Liverpool which can be easily reached from the airport. One of the closest is the Marriott Liverpool South, situated just one mile from the airport complex.
