Lodz Airport

Lodz Airport, IATA code LCJ, was formerly known as Lodz-Lublinek Airport, but is now officially named the Lodz Wladyslaw Reymont Airport, in honour of the Polish writer and 1924 Nobel Literature prize winner, Wladyslaw Reymont. This airport serves central Poland and it is located just 6km from Lodz city centre. The airport was established in 1925 and has since undergone many upgrades, so that it can now handle a very large number of passengers and airlines. The airport currently has two terminals, Terminal 1 serving national flights and Terminal 2 international arrivals and departures

Getting to the airport by road is easy or you may choose to use public transport. The airport is located near the A1 Trans-European motorway, which is about 10km away from its junctions with the A2 motorway, making it very easily accessible. Rail and bus services are also available, along with airport shuttle services and taxi companies, which all serve the surrounding areas. International and local car rental companies have desks in the terminals and there are multiple car parks, with options for long-term and short-term parking.

Lodz Airport has a luxurious and relaxing executive lounge, which you can stay in until your flight is called. There is also a chapel, in Terminal 2, where a mass is conducted every Sunday at 11:00am.

Detailed information about the airport and its services, including flight arrival and departure information, can be viewed at http://www.airport.lodz.pl/index_en.

There are no hotels adjacent to the airport, but there is a wide range of accommodation in the city of Lodz.
