Milas-Bodrum Airport is an airport that connects the Turkish towns of Bodrum and Milas to the outside world. The airport has a runway that is close to 10,000ft long and approximately 150ft wide.
Around four million passengers pass through the airport every year.
Directions:
Road access to Milas-Bodrum Airport is by the D330 motorway. From Bodrum, journey time is forty-five minutes and from Milas around twenty minutes.
Terminals:
Milas-Bodrum Airport has two terminals.
Transport to and from Milas-Bodrum Airport:
Since the D330 runs just to the eastern side of Milas-Bodrum Airport’s international terminal, one of the easiest and most convenient means of getting to and from the airport is by road. Bodrum is 40km away from the airport, while Milas is only 16km distant. Car hire services are available at the airport and at both towns.
A courtesy bus is available and in addition to serving Bodrum and Milas, it also shuttles passengers to places such as Gulluk, Dorttepe and Sekkoy. There are also taxis, which go further than the shuttle buses, reaching towns like Yatagan, Oren and Mugla.
Parking:
There are small parking areas, which are situated adjacent to each of the terminals.
Accommodation:
There is plenty of accommodation close to the airport. Prices range from €25 to €35 a night at a guesthouse, to €54 per night at a two-star or three-star hotel.
Facilities:
At the international terminal there are catering outlets and shops, though they are few in number.
