Transport options to and from the airport are limited to three, shuttle buses, car rental and taxis. The shuttle buses have services to Orlando city centre, International Drive and other out-of-town destinations. On-site car rentals are easily accessible in the airport itself, but off-site companies also offer shuttles to their offices. Taxis are available on level 1, through both sides of the terminal.
The car parking facilities include three that are easily accessible from the terminal and three for economy parking. Free shuttle services operate between the terminal and the economy car parks. Orlando International has also made provision for short-term parking to allow for passenger pick up. Information booths can be found in the West and East Hall and courtesy telephones are located around the terminal.
The airport’s facilities include ATMs, a bank, bureaux de change, postal services and telephones, some of which have data ports. There are also 24hour Internet kiosks located throughout the airport and it is also wired for Wireless Internet access. Dining and refreshment facilities feature fast-food restaurants as well as high-end restaurants, bar and grill and pizza parlour. There is also a sandwich shop, delicatessen, bakery store and cafés. Duty-free shopping is available in addition to other general shops. The airport also has medical facilities and shoeshine services.
The airport has the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Hotel, which is on-site. Besides accommodation, the hotel also offers business facilities, which include meeting rooms, secretarial services and international telecommunications.
