San Diego International Airport (SAN) San Diego International Airport (SAN), also known as Lindbergh Field, is approximately 3 miles from downtown San Diego. Every month 9,000 domestic and international flights operate out of SAN, serving 1,500,000 passengers.

SAN can be reached via Amtrak and Coaster trains or the Metro Bus System. Private limos, taxis and shuttles are also available. Offsite long-term parking, with shuttle service to the terminal is available from $10 to $12 per day and valet parking is available for $30 per day.

The airport is divided into three terminals: 1, 2 and the Commuter Terminal. Terminals 1 and 2 offer travellers dining and shopping choices, including Chili’s Too and Baja Books. The Neil Ash USO Center welcomes military personnel and their families to enjoy a comfortable pre-flight wait. SAN hosts a variety of performing arts and children’s events throughout the year.
