Luftfartsverket Arlanda Airport is located 43 km or 27 miles north of Stockholm. The airport has 62 check-in desks, 55 gates and 44 air bridges to accommodate approximately 17,913,000 annual passengers.

There are 35 restaurants, cafes and bars throughout the terminals. Shoppers will find 48 shops including duty free shops. Most of these are located in Terminal 5 and in SkyCity. The airport has several ATMs, two banks, and Bureaux De Change for all your money transactions. There is also a currier service and a post office located in SkyCity. The airport offers wireless Internet access that is available throughout, along with many public computers with Internet access.

Other facilities include a doctor’s office and pharmacy. There is a chapel, a hairdresser and a dry cleaner. The airport also offers showers and a fitness centre. For travellers with young children there are baby-changing facilities, a nursing room and play areas. For travellers with special needs there are text phones available. Lifts and wheelchair accessible toilets are located in all of the terminals. Passengers should request any special assistance they may require when booking their flight.

Business travellers are invited to use the lounges with fax and copying machines. They also have Internet access. They are located in Terminals 2 and 5. Located in the SkyCity is Arlanda Conference & Business Centre. There are 48 conference rooms between Terminals 4 and 5 with seating from 2 to 700. There are also a banquet and exhibitions halls for up to 1,000 people.

There are four hotels located at the airport and there are other hotels near by. Many of the hotels have free shuttle service.

For travelling to and from the airport there are trains, buses and coaches available. The taxi ranks can be found directly outside the terminals. Many of the taxi companies offer fixed fees to Stockholm and Uppsala. There are four car rental agencies at the airport and are located next to the long term parking areas.
