Humberside Airport is three miles from junction 5 of the M180 motorway. The airport has good road links and can be reached via the M18, M1 and A1 as well as the Humber Bridge. The Stagecoach X1 ‘Humber Flyer’ runs between Hull, Humberside airport and Grimsby. The closest train station to the airport is Barnetby. It is just three miles from the airport and has regular train services to Doncaster.

There are long-stay and short-stay car parking areas at the airport. There is no need to book in advance. Instead, first park your car and then pay at the automatic ticket machines in and around the terminal building. The machines accept all major credit and debit cards and cash. Parking stays of up to fifteen minutes are free. This airport has one main terminal and arrivals are located in the main terminal.

The airport has two shops, Alpha Airport Shopping and WH Smith. Alpha Airport Shopping sells a wide range of tax-free items including perfumes, wines, spirits and tobacco, among other items. These outlets can be found before and after security. The airport has two bars, the Bar and Bar des Voyageurs, and Food Village that provide food and drinks. The airport has an executive lounge. The lounge has a bar which offers a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and a selection of snacks. There is a wide range of newspapers and magazines.

Business facilities such as writing desks, Internet access, phone and fax are available at the airport. Business meetings can also be held in the ‘Kirmington Suite’ which can host up to 28 delegates.

The airport doesn’t have any hotel on site. The most convenient accommodation is probably the Holocombe Guest House, which is about 4.5 miles away from the airport. This guest house has airport transport and ground floor rooms for disabled guests. The rooms are well equipped.
