Perth Airport hosts 3 terminals – two domestic and one international; these are spread quite a distance apart. The domestic terminals are seven and a half miles from Perth, while the international terminal is ten and a half miles away.

There is a $1 billion renovation plan to merge one of the domestic terminals with the international one at the site of the current international terminal. The first phase (due for completion in 2011) will see a terminal (name WA) that will be dedicated to Western Australia destinations. The next two phases will encompass the merger of terminals mentioned above.

Directions

The airport is located off the Great Eastern (94) and Tonkin Freeways (4) with the main entrance off route 4 on Hottie Miller Circle.

Parking

There are four parking facilities – short-term and long-term, as well as the Fastrack facility for business travelers and the regional terminal parking. Shuttles are available between the parking and the terminals.

Transport to and from Parking Areas

There is an inter-terminal transfer shuttle available and also a shuttle service in between the terminals and the parking facilities

Accommodations

There are numerous three and four-star hotels located anywhere from one to eleven miles from the airport with shuttle bus services available from the airport to the closest hotel. Otherwise, you will need to rely on a rental car or public transportation

Facilities

There are plenty of eating, relaxing and shopping opportunities at Perth Airport. You will find several fashion and jewelry outlets, foreign currency exchanges, as well as numerous souvenir shops. Music stores, mobile phone rentals and a bookstore / newsstand. There are several restaurants, lounges and coffee shops for everyone’s taste buds. Naturally there are ample restrooms and telephones.
