Few other airlines will be offering this exciting new experience in the sort term giving them a monopoly on the London – Southeast Asia route.

The aircraft, which started flying commercially this year after several delays, will fly the lunchtime departure from Singapore to London and the late evening return, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from July 16th. It is also deployed on other routes from Singapore, such a the Sydney service in which it debuted.

Singapore Airlines also plans to use the aircraft on its Beijing route between August 2nd and 8th for passengers travelling to the Olympics.

The aircraft covers the distance in slightly less time and has a greater capacity, especially for first and business class.
