British Airways launches non-stop route to Las Vegas
British Airways has announced that it will be opening a new daily, non-stop route connecting Heathrow Airport to Las Vegas. The new service is expected to begin on October 25. Prices for the flights will depend on the day of travel, and begin at around £550 for a round-trip fare.

New immigration fast gates to open at Heathrow

Britons arrested in connection with Heathrow’s record heroin bust
In UK's biggest ever heroin bust, British and South African authorities have seized 360 kilogrammes of heroine, after immigration officials at Heathrow Airport discovered drugs concealed in South African souvenirs.
About 165 kg of heroin were found during the bust at Heathrow itself, a record seizure for the airport.

Premier Inn set to become UK’s largest airport hotelier
Budget hotel chain Premier Inn has announced plans for four new properties at Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports. The hotels, which will be the first budget options available at the terminals, will also make Whtibread -- which owns Premier Inn -- the largest airport hotelier in the UK.
