IATA condemns European air navigation cost increases
Proposed plans by 19 Eurocontrol states to raise fees on over flight routes has been strongly criticised by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), who says that the 2.7 per cent increase will cost its members an extra $360 million next year.

IATA predicts airline loss exceeding USD5 billion in 2008
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has reported a revised forecast for the airline industry that anticipate overall losses for 2008 of USD5.2 billion, based on per-barrel crude oil price averages of USD113, and USD140 for jet fuel.
