United Airlines to offer Chicago and Rome summer flights
Posted on: December 1st, 2009 by lisa WormwellStarting 1 May 2010, United Airlines will offer seasonal flights daily between Chicago and Italy’s capital city Rome. The flight will operate throughout the summer travel season and will end by 31 August 2010.
United Airlines still continues to offer daily flight service between Rome and Washington Dulles, United Airlines’ largest hub to Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Greg Kaldahl, Vice President for Resource Planning of United Airlines, said that the airline’s seasonal flights from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport to Rome during summer months, along with its flights from Washington, will give passengers more options when planning their summer holidays.
United Airlines offers lie-flat seats, electronic gadgets’ connectivity, and various movies for first and business class cabin passengers in all of its Boeing 767 transoceanic flights. The airline is the only major US carrier to offer such entertainment and comfort on its mainline fleet. Meanwhile, world-class chef Charlie Trotter will prepare an array of dishes for passengers aboard these flights.
United 904 flight from Chicago bound to Rome will depart at 18:25 starting 1 May 2010. Whereas, United 905 flight from Rome to Chicago’s O’Hare Airport will depart at 12:30 beginning 2 May 2010.
