Orlando International Airport (airport code MCO) is located 14.5 kilometres southeast of downtown Orlando at the intersection of State roads 436 and 528.

Parking at the airport is plentiful and the options are numerous. A ‘Cell Phone’ parking area is provided for free, where you can await a phone call and meet your friends and family at the kerbside baggage reclaim. Valet parking and short-term and long-term parking options are also available.

Orlando International can also be reached by various other forms of transportation, including public buses, taxi services, complimentary hotel shuttles, out of town shuttles and “Disney’s Magical Express Service”.

Approximately twenty percent of all air travellers from this airport fly on Southwest Airlines. The airport also serves as a secondary hub for AirTran Airways and is a focus city for Delta Airlines and JetBlue Airways. The airport carriers schedule non-stop flights to 85 different domestic locations and dozens of international ones.

Orlando International has four terminals in one large building. The terminals are all connected by a “people mover” system and there are a total of 139 gates currently in use amongst all four terminals.

The airport offers a variety of services to their customers. These include numerous shops, dining options (ranging from fast food to fine dining) and a luxury hotel on the premises. There are also on-site car rental services and dozens of hotels that offer shuttle services to and from the airport.
