Lester B. Pearson International Airport (airport code YYZ) is the busiest airport in Canada. It is located 27 kilometres west of downtown Toronto. It can be accessed via Highway 427 (just north of the Highway 401 interchange), or from Highway 409.

The airport provides several parking options, including public parking at terminals, valet parking at Terminal 1 and an off-site reduced rate parking lot. Short term parking is also available for those who are dropping off or picking up passengers.

The airport can also be reached by various public bus lines and there are special drop off and pick up locations for people who use livery services. Additionally, there is a shuttle bus service available to and from many downtown locations. This service is called “Toronto Airport Express”.

The airport serves as the primary hub for Air Canada and is also a major hub for Westjet. Air Canada serves passengers flying all over the world, whilst Westjet passengers using Pearson are flying to and from various North American locations. Other notable airlines using this airport are British Airways (London-Heathrow) and Air France (Paris-Charles De Gaulle-Paris). In addition to its passenger service, Toronto Pearson is rated one of the top thirty airports for cargo activity. The airport currently has two terminals in operation, Terminal 1 which has 58 gates and Terminal 3 which has 38 gates.

There are three hotels at the airport to accommodate overnight stays.
