Malaga is a port city in southern Spain, on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea (Costa del Sol). The city has a population of 600,000 and is the biggest coastal city in the south. The main language spoken is Spanish. It has a mild year round climate of an average of 23 C. Malaga is most famous as being a popular tourist destination and has many restaurants, bars and bodegas, with most of the city being built behind the harbour. Its other main industry is Agriculture. The city is also the birthplace of Pablo Picasso and Antonio Banderas.
